2026 SLCA Photo Contest

Introducing 'Fire & Ice', the early bird CONTEST!


Contest Sponsor: Twin Flame Company Paulina and Troy are new residents of Steenburg Lake. They are also the proud artisans and owners of Twin Flame Company, and will be graciously donating one of their miniature creations for the contest. The prize: Valued at $75, the winner will receive a miniature bonfire scene as shown in the sample photo. The scene will feature two miniature Muskoka chairs, a bonfire, and other adorable custom accessories. 


Deadline for the Early Bird Contest is Feb. 28, 2026

 Include the following information: 1. Your name. 2. Your address on the lake -- so we can confirm you are a member of the SLCA. 3. A title for your photo.

The contest is open to paid Members and their family. Contest entrants retain the copyright in their submitted work(s). By entering the Contest, entrants grant the Steenburg Lake Community Association permission to publish the work(s) on the website, in social media and in our newsletters.  Each contest entrant warrants that he/she is the sole owner of the copyright in the submitted work(s) and has the authority to grant the foregoing licence.    Winners will be notified by email, judges decisions are final.

our mission

To source and make available relevant information to the Membership regarding political and environmental changes that impact cottage ownership and take appropriate action on behalf of the Association when deemed necessary by the executive; to promote, educate and encourage responsible lake stewardship and to provide opportunities to meet and socialize at events throughout the year with fellow cottage owners.

Become a member

Your annual membership fee of $40 helps the Steenburg Lake Community Association achieve their mission on behalf of the residents of Steenburg Lake. Fees fund fun activities throughout the year, they support our Lake Stewardship program, Newsletters, Website, and Government Relations. Your membership is appreciated, and required, in order to continue as an association.
